Origin: Alta Langa, Piemonte, Italy
We used only Tonda Gentile Trilobata Hazelnut from Piemonte. Recognizable by its three-lobed shape, its thin shell, its delicate flavor and its limited amount of fat which gives it good shelf life, this variety of hazelnut finds its best location in the Alta Langa. The taste is crispy and releases a sweet, intense, oily and sometimes astringent flavor.
